Job summary

Generalist is seeking a customer-facing product engineering professional to own PM-like responsibilities across web UIs, APIs, hardware interfaces, and human processes. You will diagnose, teach, QA, and run robot-related applications used by customers, deployments, and researchers.

You’ll split time between learning customer use cases and implementing product ideas, collaborating across the stack to deliver reliable, scalable software for the Generalist robots.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing product engineering experience
• Strong UI/UX sensibilities
• Proficient with modern web stack: TS, React, FastAPI, Postgres, AWS

Responsibilities

• Crafting external and internal API interfaces that customers and partners interface with to access Generalist systems
• Building the tools and workflows that enable and accelerate the core missions of researchers, engineers, and operations partners company-wide
• The primary web application researchers, ops, and deployments use to evaluate and train robot models
