Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedic and Robotic Surgical Services perioperative team in Albany, NY. The role offers exposure to advanced robotic technologies and collaboration with surgeons across multiple specialties.

The candidate will perform first- and second-assist duties in the OR, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in ongoing professional development within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and active as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
• ACLS/BLS certification required; HIPAA compliance is essential.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive perioperative care for surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons across multiple procedures, including robotic assistance.
• Perform first- and second-assist duties in the operating room.
• Collaborate with perioperative staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Mentor and train staff across surgical specialties and participate in ongoing development.
