Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant degree program or Master’s in Nursing Practitioner with RNFA training.
• Active NYS license/registration as PA or NP.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• HIPAA compliance at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative care for surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons during a wide range of procedures including robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Perform first- and second-assist duties in the operating room.
• Collaborate with perioperative staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Participate in mentorship and training across multiple specialties.
• Maintain accurate documentation of encounters, operative notes and findings.
• Engage in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support teamwork and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
