Job summary

Leoforce in Trenton, NJ is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Technician with PLC and robotics experience to support automated plastics manufacturing operations. The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, PLC programming, and robotics support, with some mechanical responsibilities as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience and hands-on robotics experience, with experience in AutomationDirect PLCs.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial setting
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (AutomationDirect preferred)
• Hands-on experience with robotics systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience

Responsibilities

• Support robotic integration, EOAT functionality, and automation within injection molding processes
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (AutomationDirect)
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems including motors, sensors, relays, and controls
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment downtime
• Support and maintain injection molding machines and related automation
• Repair EOAT (end-of-arm tooling) and assist with robotic integration
• Install and troubleshoot wiring, conduit, and electrical components
• Assist with mechanical repairs including conveyors, pumps, and production equipment
• Document maintenance work in CMMS or internal systems
• Communicate with production and leadership to minimize downtime and improve performance
