Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, compliant operations and support TPM/Lean initiatives on the production floor.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, calibrating instrumentation, and troubleshooting robotics, PLCs, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong reading of electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic prints and excellent communication with teams. On-site work with lifting up to 50 pounds is involved.

Qualifications

• Maintenance technician with ability to perform preventive maintenance and calibration on assigned equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair six axis robotics and pick-and-place robotics.
• Electrical troubleshooting including PLCs and use of discreet/analog I/O.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems on production machinery.
• Read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints and schematics.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to interpret mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on assigned equipment and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair six axis robotics and pick and place robotics.
• Electrical troubleshooting including PLC's using discreet and analog inputs/outputs.
• Troubleshoot and repair modern injection molding machines and other production machinery.
• Assist with setup and teardown of packaging line.
• Communicate with supervisor and production personnel to ensure efficient operations.
