Job summary

Calance is seeking an onsite Sr Robot/PLC Technician to support manufacturing operations in Georgetown, KY. The role requires hands-on experience with online and offline robot programming, PLC programming, troubleshooting and ensuring safety standards are met.

This 12+ month assignment involves travel up to 50%, overtime at 70%, and heavy hands-on installation, training NAMC MTCE on new equipment and SOP support. Local candidates only, in-person interview required.

• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting and logic updates.

JOB DETAILS:

Location: ONSITE - Georgetown, KY 40324

Pay Rate: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour (W2 Only)

This is role is 100% ONSITE, no remote work offered

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Online and Offline Robot and PLC programming.
• Equipment installation, confirmation of Body Weld standards on new installs and model changes, confirmation of all safety devices and equipment production activity in the body weld shop.
• Able to understand BPE standards setup equipment and train NAMC MTCE on new equipment and assist with production through Start of production (SOP).

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Must attend in-person interview (Local candidates only)
• Experience with Online and Offline Robot
• Experienced with PLC programming, troubleshooting and logic updates experience

Other Requirements:

• 50%: Travel - Domestic and International (able to obtain a US Passport)
• 70%: Over-time - which covers weekends, holidays, and shutdowns, when required
• PPE: Will wear Steel Toed Shoes/Hard Hat and Safety Glasses
