Job summary

bgfoods is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our team in Terre Haute, Indiana. The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance, plus experience with PLCs and robotic controls on high-speed food processing equipment.

Candidates should be able to work independently or as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and basic programming skills. Forklift/boom lift/scissor lift operation knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.

• Welding and fabrication abilities to support production needs.
• Familiarity with high-speed food processing/packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Operate and maintain material handling and automated lines.
• Assist with welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
