Symbotic LLC is seeking a Robotics Planning Engineer to design, develop, and test high-performance planning software for large-scale robotic systems in warehouse environments.

You will work on multi-robot motion planning, task allocation, and inventory-aware decision making, connecting robot-level execution with fleet-wide orchestration while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in robotics, algorithm development, or related software engineering.
• Strong background in multi-agent pathfinding and robotics motion planning.
• Familiarity with task allocation, inventory management, and real-time decision systems.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and test real-time planning software for large-scale robotic systems spanning routing, tasking, inventory flow, and system design.
• Build and optimize algorithms for multi-robot motion planning, task allocation, and traffic management in dynamic warehouses.
• Develop planning logic coordinating behavior across software layers and fleet-level orchestration.
• Create simulation and modeling tools to validate strategies and stress-test edge cases.
• Integrate planning solutions into production systems and collaborate with robotics, perception, controls, cloud, and operations teams.
• Support deployments by triaging issues and improving diagnostics.
