Job summary

Accelera in Auburn Hills, Michigan, is hiring Electrical Panel Builders / Electrical Assembly Technicians to construct control panels and automation hardware for robotics systems. You will interpret wiring diagrams, assemble enclosures, and perform quality inspections to ensure safety and compliance with BOMs and FANUC standards.

The role requires 1–5 years in electrical testing or panel building, with experience in ISO 9001 environments and ERP software.

Qualifications

GED or high school diploma required.
1–5 years experience in electrical testing, panel building or manufacturing assembly.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and schematics.
Experience with measurement devices and standard electrical hand tools.
Manufacturing facility experience preferred.
ISO 9001 familiarity preferred.
ERP software experience preferred.
Understanding of Lockout/Tagout and MIOSHA safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Construct electrical control panels and related hardware per engineering specs and design prints.
Analyze and translate technical documentation including wiring diagrams and schematics.
Execute wiring tasks while maintaining correct voltage and color-coding standards.
Prepare enclosures with layouts and cutouts to meet build demands.
Ensure parts align with Bills of Materials (BOM).
Perform inspections to verify safety, continuity and workmanship to FANUC benchmarks.
Utilize electrical hand tools and ERP systems for documentation and wiring tasks.
Meet production targets through independent work and teamwork.
