Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a hands-on technician to join our Paint Robot Team. You will help keep our paint line running smoothly by operating and maintaining robotic and paint application equipment, performing maintenance and calibrations, and ensuring quality targets are met.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, with experience in electrical or mechanical repairs in a manufacturing setting, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Experience with electrical or mechanical repairs in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn new processes.
Automotive manufacturing experience is a bonus and helpful for context.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain robotic and paint application equipment per control plans and targets.
Perform and document maintenance, calibrations, and PMs for optimum performance.
Identify and help resolve product/quality issues per IATF-16949; verify corrective actions.
Meet daily production goals and accurately record production data.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper tool storage.
Work overtime as required and adapt to shift needs.
