Cynet Health in Sachse, TX seeks a Certified Surgical Technician (CST/ORT) for a 13-week contract in a busy surgical unit. The role supports robotic procedures and orthopedics, with emphasis on spine and endoscopy, plus on-call and weekend coverage.

Expect a 36-hour shift pattern, use of EMR Meditech Expanse, and a 1:1 patient ratio. Night shifts are on-call; strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CST/ORT experience.
• NBSTSA CST certification required.
• Experience with robotics, orthopedics, spine, and endoscopy procedures preferred.

Responsabilités

• On-call availability for one day each week and one weekend (Fri–Sun).
• Robotic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, total joints, laminectomy, kyphoplasty, carpal tunnel release performed.
• Night shifts are on-call only; typical patient ratio 1:1.
• Call required for ~10–15 days per month depending on case volume.
