Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking experienced Surgical Technologists for mobile staffing assignments across the health system, with premium pay and flexible scheduling. Opportunities span nationwide and regional locations, with 4x10 day shifts available at times.

Requirements include a CST or equivalent, associate/bachelor’s in surgical technology, and 18 months CST experience (or five years if trained through other means). Travel, per diem and license/cert reimbursements may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
• CST certification preferred.
• Minimum 18 months CST experience; five years if trained in military or other settings.
• Cannot hold a concurrent Trinity Health facility position.
• Orientation and training options available to fit schedules.

Responsibilities

• Float across hospital locations and regions as needed.
• Apply professional practice elements: Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Act independently within scope of knowledge and experience.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
