American Rheinmetall Vehicles is seeking a Robot Operator to support robotic cells across our manufacturing floor. The role emphasizes safe operation, maintaining high quality, and contributing to productivity and on-time delivery.

The operator will load parts, cycle jobs, program and adjust the teach pendant, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep cells running efficiently. A high school diploma is required, with preferred weld/robotics certifications and at least two

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Familiarity with inspection methods and quality standards.
• Knowledge of safety requirements, environmental policies, AS9100, and ISO14001.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to obtain an overhead crane permit as part of job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load part into robot cell by locating fixture and aligns part properly.
• Cycle the part in the fixture per specifications and requirements.
• Understand the functionality of the robot teach pendant.
• Perform robotic jogging functions and touch up points to ensure part quality.
• Ensure robotic cells function safely and safety devices are operational.
• Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform weld consumable changes including tip, nozzle gas, diffuser and wire.
• Monitor wire feeder and adjust settings as needed.
• Troubleshoot wire feed system components such as liners, feeder, tips, and torch.
