Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a software engineer to build the tools and infrastructure that power the robotics iteration cycle, spanning data pipelines, training infrastructure, evaluation systems, and related tooling.

You will collaborate with research scientists, ML engineers, and data operations teams to reduce friction and increase throughput and quality of each iteration across hardware and simulation environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development for robotics, ML infra, or related fields.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with C++.
• Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or GUI apps.
• Experience with ML workflows, training pipelines, and dataset management.

Responsibilities

• Build tools and infrastructure to power data collection, training, evaluation, and policy development.
