Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Champaign, Illinois. The role involves supporting the Operations Maintenance Team and maintaining material handling equipment. You will be responsible for repair, installation, and maintenance duties, while also mentoring junior technicians.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge in equipment repair and safety standards is critical. Comprehensive benefits will be provided from the first day.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
• 1+ years in blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• 1+ years knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.

Skills

Experience in repair of material handling equipment (MHE)

Conducting predictive and preventative maintenance

Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles

CMMS experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
