SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ seeks a Mechanical Engineer, Robotics in Austin, TX. Own mechanical systems from concept through deployment, designing, building, testing, and shipping real robotic systems with hands-on ownership.

Early-career friendly role requiring SolidWorks/Ansys for CAD/FEA and GD&T. Collaborate with suppliers and users to shape requirements, iterate quickly, and move fast in a small team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical design experience, including robotic systems.
• Solid CAD and FEA skills with SolidWorks and Ansys.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical systems end to end, from concept to production and field deployment.
• Design for high-temperature, corrosive and water-heavy environments, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Iterate quickly with proof-of-concepts and test rigs when speed matters.
• Run strength, thermal and reliability analysis and produce drawings using GD&T.
• Build jigs and fixtures, assemble robots, run tests and lead root cause analysis.
• Work with suppliers and cross-functional engineers to shape requirements.
