Job summary

Skild AI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to own the transition of electromechanical robotics hardware from prototype into repeatable production. You will lead a team of assembly technicians and manufacturing engineers, own build execution against schedule, and scale production by improving the core infrastructure for assembly stations, Kanban, BOM architecture, and work instructions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in manufacturing or NPI engineering for complex electromechanical hardware.
• Experience taking a product from prototype into repeatable production.
• Experience leading technicians and engineers with demonstrated ownership.
• Fluency with PLM and BOM systems.
• Hands-on process development: fixture design, assembly method development, tooling selection.
• Scripting for manufacturing data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver units against schedule with part availability and floor priorities.
• Lead and develop assembly technicians and manufacturing engineers.
• Reduce build hours through process design, fixturing, and documentation improvements.
• Transition new hardware platforms from engineering to producible builds; run pilot builds.
• Stand up processes and fixtures for each new platform.
• Own build instructions and documentation; keep them current as designs change.
• May own BOM and production data layer and MBOM accuracy.
