Skild AI Inc. is seeking a versatile Robotics Engineer to develop software for manipulation systems, deploying learning-based algorithms on real robots.

You will collaborate with researchers and the ML team to build high-quality software for robotic manipulation and hardware deployment. The role requires strong foundations in controls, perception, and planning, and experience with C++ and Python, ROS/ROS2, and modern DL libraries.

Qualifications

• BS/MS or higher in CS/Robotics or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing robotic manipulation systems.
• Experience deploying software on real robots.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one deep learning library.
• Knowledge of ROS/ROS2 and simulators.
• Publications at top-tier ML/robotics/CV conferences is a plus.
• Familiarity with SLAM, kinematics, dynamics, control.

Responsabilités

• Design algorithms, models, and techniques for robotic manipulation tasks.
• Design hardware and software systems for robotic manipulation tasks.
• Write controllers and perception stacks for real-world deployment.
• Write production-level C++ and Python code for robotic manipulation platforms.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy state-of-the-art models on robots.
• Continuously improve and optimize robotic software for performance, reliability, and scalability.
