ViaBot Inc. is seeking a Robotics Maintenance Technician in Santa Clara to keep our fleet of robots running smoothly across the Bay Area and beyond. No robotics experience is required as we provide comprehensive paid on‑the‑job training.

You will perform local maintenance, learn repair processes, and grow skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. The role offers full‑time hours with a Monday–Friday schedule, training from experienced technicians, and opportunities to advance in

Qualifications

• No robotics or industrial maintenance experience required — we will train you.
• Mechanical curiosity and willingness to learn hands‑on repair and troubleshooting.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools, or eager to learn.
• Basic computer skills (comfortable learning new software and digital tools).
• Highly organized and dependable, with the ability to manage tasks and track work.
• Capable of working independently or in small teams with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive problem‑solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally to perform maintenance and repairs on robots at client locations.
• Conduct routine inspections, debugging, cleaning, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with guidance from the team.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs using internal tools.
• Operate hand and power tools (e.g., allen wrenches, angle grinders).
• Learn to prioritize and schedule repairs in a fast‑paced environment.
• Manage shipping and receiving of robots and parts for servicing.
• Assist in training servicing agents at remote sites as you gain experience.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and manage inventory levels.
• Document debugging reports with root cause, steps taken, and outcomes.
• Develop PC troubleshooting knowledge, including basic network connectivity.

We're looking for a hands‑on, mechanically-minded person to join our California team as a Robotics Maintenance Technician — no prior robotics experience required. We provide comprehensive, paid on‑the‑job training, so if you're curious, reliable, and good with your hands, we'll teach you the rest. This is not your typical desk job — you'll be keeping our fleet of robots running smoothly across the Bay Area and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Operate hand and power tools, ranging from allen wrenches to angle grinders
• Learn to prioritize and schedule repairs in a fast‑paced environment
• Manage shipping and receiving of robots and parts for servicing
• Support and eventually help train servicing agents at remote sites as you gain experience
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and help maintain healthy inventory levels
• Document debugging reports for fixes, capturing root cause, diagnostic steps, resolution, and lessons learned
• Build working knowledge of PC troubleshooting and diagnostics, including hardware, OS‑level issues, and basic network connectivity

What We're Looking For

• No prior robotics or industrial maintenance experience required — we'll train you
• Mechanical curiosity and a willingness to learn hands‑on repair and troubleshooting skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools, or eager to learn
• Basic computer skills (comfortable learning new software and digital tools)
• Highly organized and dependable, with the ability to develop your own system for managing tasks and tracking work as you grow into the role

• Typical hours: 11am-7pm, Monday-Friday (occasional earlier/later shifts depending on workload)

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
