Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Robotics Maintenance Technician to maintain and support a fully automated shipping and receiving facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The role includes preventative maintenance, repairs, and adherence to electrical safety standards while handling up to 30,000 steps per day on a 2-3-2 shift from 8pm to 8am.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED plus 3-5 years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience within controls and automation, with PLC

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3-5 years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience within controls & automation.
• Good situational awareness is essential.
• General understanding of closed loop PLCs is expected.
• Experience with PLCs preferred, especially Siemens Controls.
• OSHA 30 certification for electrical hazard safety is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical automation equipment.
• Provide ad hoc repairs and support for a fully automated shipping & receiving facility.

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Robotics Maintenance Technician to provide day to day maintenance and support to a large shipping & receiving facility that is fully automated in the Bowling Green, Kentucky area. This role will entail preventative maintenance & repairs as well as ad hoc repairs for the mechanical and electrical automation equipment in the facility. Due to the advanced technology and the automated machinery, this role will also involve a high level of awareness, attention to detail and electrical safety standards. Additionally, this role will require walking up to 30,000 steps/day. The shift is 2-3-2 schedule from 8pm - 8am.

Rotating Schedule:

• First week: On for 2, Off for 3, On for 2
• Second week: Off for 2, on for 3, off for 2
