Job summary

Dexmate in Colorado is seeking a hands-on Hardware Operations Specialist to build and run the company’s physical operations layer. You will own inventory, lab safety, packaging, shipping, and coordination with our Seoul team, on the floor, in the lab, and at the loading dock.

You’ll design an end-to-end inventory system, enforce accuracy, and ensure smooth bench-to-build flow for robot production and customer shipments. This role blends hands-on logistics with engineering collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in hardware lab operations, materials management, or logistics.
• Inbound and outbound logistics experience, including international shipments.
• You have built or improved an inventory system, not just operated one.
• You read BOMs, understand revisions, and handle prototypes without damage.

Responsibilities

• Design and run the inventory system end to end: part numbering, bin scheme, receiving, put-away, counts.
• Own inventory accuracy across labs and warehouses; set accuracy targets.
• Kit parts for robot builds and ensure on-time delivery to benches.
• Manage consumables and reorder points: fasteners, cabling, PPE, ESD supplies.
• Track tools/equipment, calibration schedules, and preventive maintenance.
• Set lab organization standards: 5S, labeling, clean-as-you-go; ensure ESD compliance.
• Handle battery/hazmat storage per lithium-ion safety requirements.
• Support lab buildouts: benches, test stations, installs.
• Own outbound robot shipments end-to-end, domestic and international.
• Design packaging and sourcing: shock mounts, indicators, reusable vs one-way.
• Coordinate with Seoul office for inbound/outbound workflows.
• Manage freight forwarders, quote/book LTL/FTL/air; Incoterms as needed.
• Prepare export docs: invoices, packing lists, HS classification, origin certificates.
• Maintain serial-number tracking and as-shipped configuration records.
• Handle cargo insurance and damage claims.
