Job summary

Relativity Space is hiring a Robotics Kinematics Engineer to join the Horizon team. You will own the kinematics backbone of our software infrastructure, working across propulsion, manufacturing, and software to deliver real‑time performance in a fast‑moving R&D setting.

Qualifications

• BS required in robotics, control systems, CS, or related field.
• MS preferred for advanced roles.
• PhD is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced kinematics algorithms for robotic systems (6+ DoF).
• Own and maintain the kinematics library across robotics software products.
• Develop and maintain calibration tools and methodologies for diverse robot workflows.
• Serve as SME for robot kinematics, motion modeling, and multi-axis synchronization.
