Job summary

Dynamic Creatures in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Hardware Engineer Lead to prototype rapidly, validate designs across actuation, sensing, and structure, and drive production-ready hardware.

You will own subsystem design, CAD, tests, and documentation, collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams to deliver reliable robotics for entertainment and hospitality brands. In-person role five days a week, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in robotics, consumer electronics, or related hardware.
• Strong mechanical or electrical fundamentals (or both).
• Hands-on prototyping experience (machining, 3D printing, soldering).
• BS/MS in ME, EE, Robotics, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design subsystems in CAD and take them through prototyping.
• Spec and integrate motors, sensors, and electronics.
• Run characterization and reliability tests.
• Document designs and contribute to BOM and manufacturing files.
