Key job responsibilities
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production including design, prototyping, validation, testing and certification
  • Writing and developing functional specifications, design verification plans and test procedures
  • Designing and implementing complex embedded system, analog and digital circuit design and systems debugging
  • Supporting product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments
  • Implement Engineering Change Orders
  • Work with cross-functional teams as required by the project
  • Execute tasks to ambitious schedules
A day in the life
Basic Qualifications
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields
  • Knowledge of schematic design and debug skills
  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in analog and digital skills with embedded systems
  • Experience in embedded systems projects
  • Experience in schematic entry and layout tools (familiarity with OrCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro tool flow is a plus)
  • Experience designing schematics containing analog and digital electronics
  • Familiar with PCB layout design and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with FPGAs, VHDL, microcontrollers, microprocessors and mixed-signal designs
  • Experience with serial communication interfaces (CAN, SPI, Ethernet, etc.)
  • Proficient with Matlab and PSPICE for analog circuit simulation
  • Experience with Python
