Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years implementing safety standards experience.
• 4+ years with complex electromechanical systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in regulated industries applying standards to design and work products.

Responsibilities

• Specify and guide design controls for robotics and industrial automation equipment.
• Perform hazard and risk assessments and safety analyses of robotics and automation equipment.
• Write safety requirement specifications, safety management plans, safety concepts, and safety verification and validation plans.
• Safety requirements definition, architecture design, and detailed design.
• Ensure SILs and Performance Level targets are met.
• Drive projects to closure from concept to production and certification.
