Job summary

Path Robotics Inc. is seeking a dedicated Fabricator to support the development of robotic welding systems. You will fabricate test coupons and assemblies, read engineering drawings, and perform MIG welding while ensuring quality and safety in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will work with engineers to validate processes, support prototypes, and help improve fabrication efficiency. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of welding, fabrication, or metal manufacturing experience.
• Proficient MIG welding with consistent weld quality.
• Experience reading blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate tack-welded test assemblies for engineering validation and data collection.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication specs.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, beveling, and fixturing.
• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and other production materials.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure dimensional and visual quality.
• Operate saws, grinders, drill presses, band saws and other shop tools safely.
• Work with Welding Engineers to execute experimental weld procedures.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe fabrication workspace.
• Assist with fixture modifications, prototype builds, and general fabrication projects.
• Support continuous improvement of fabrication processes and efficiency.
