Job summary

Tylent is seeking a hands-on Robotics Engineering Lead to drive end-to-end industrial automation projects, identifying opportunities and deploying cobots and AMRs on the factory floor. You will lead technical execution from simulation to production hand-off, and mentor the team.

You will evaluate vendors, manage pilots, and ensure ISO compliance (ISO 10218, ISO/TS 15066) while coordinating safety efforts and maintaining design standards across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master’s / PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years deploying live industrial automation/robotics systems on the factory floor.
• Hands-on cobots (e.g., UR) and AMRs programming experience on production environments.
• Experience with offline programming/simulation tools for cell layout and cycle time validation.
• Strong blend of software and mechanical engineering with demonstrated leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end industrial automation projects from concept through go-live, including validation and manufacturing hand-off.
• Design, program, and integrate cobots and AMRs with existing factory systems and processes.
• Serve as hands-on tech lead, setting design standards and mentoring the project team.
• Evaluate robotics vendors, run pilot tests, and coordinate with safety teams for ISO compliance.
