Intuitive Machines is seeking a robotics engineering intern to support the ISAM Capabilities Office at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. You will work on test facilities, CAD modeling, robot-performance analysis, and tabletop modeling of mission spacecraft and robots.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or high school pursuing engineering, computer science, or related coursework.
• Strong passion for engineering and robotics.
• Ability to solve problems, work independently, and take initiative.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Supporting test facility setup and testing of new robotic systems.
• Creating CAD models of test facilities at Goddard Space Flight Center or of mission environments.
• Developing tools to analyze robot performance or reach and access.
• Designing and 3D printing interactive scale models of mission spacecraft and robots.
• Developing software for tabletop robotic systemsIntegration of AI tools into multiple phases of the software development lifecycle
