Job summary

Encore Automation, LLC is seeking an experienced Robotic Engineer to implement and optimize robotic welding and finishing processes on automotive production lines. The role focuses on robot path execution, application quality, and cycle-time improvements.

The candidate will program and support vision-guided systems, calibrate SmartFinish/SmartInspect with FANUC robots, and build simulations to validate feasibility and prevent collisions on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and robotic systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize sealant and paint booth processes for automotive lines to ensure robot path accuracy and cycle-time efficiency.
• Program, configure, and support vision-guided positioning systems for robotic applications including calibration and troubleshooting.
• Calibrate and setup SmartFinish and SmartInspect systems integrated with FANUC robots to meet client requirements using simulation software.
• Develop and validate robot simulations with FANUC Roboguide to test feasibility, optimize reach and cycle time, and prevent collisions on the production floor.
