Job summary

Neuralink is seeking engineers to own and expand the robot test fleet for its next generation surgical robot. You will break robots into testable components, build rigs, reproduce operating conditions, and automate accelerated life testing to ship new capabilities safely.

You’ll collaborate with Sim and HIL teams to ensure test models reflect real-world behavior and contribute to repeatable regression testing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on robotics experience and ability to build/test robotic test fleets.
• Some Python to automate tests and analyze results; basic Rust understanding.

Responsibilities

• Bring up, instrument, and run robots and component test rigs.
• Hunt failures across mechanics, electronics, firmware, and software.
• Automate routine robot V&V, test setup, execution, recovery, and results.
• Design and build fixtures, sensing, and logging with safe operating procedures.
• Work with Sim and HIL engineers to align models with reality.
• Turn real failures into repeatable regression tests to reduce hardware time.
