Job summary

Hydrogen UK Ltd. seeks a Robotics Engineer to program, integrate, commission, and optimize FANUC and NACHI robotic welding systems for automotive BIW in an onsite environment. The role covers arc welding, process optimization, and collaboration across engineering teams.

You will manage from initial setup through production startup, ensuring quality and repeatability while supporting safety and tooling integration. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in robotics or related field.
• 5+ years programming/integration of FANUC and NACHI robots.
• 2+ years MIG welding in automotive BIW environments.
• Experience from programming to production startup.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Program and refine MIG welding trajectories on NACHI and FANUC robots.
• Optimize torch positioning and welding parameters for quality.
• Configure schedules on robotic controllers.
• Troubleshoot welding defects and process issues in high-volume production.
• Maintain TCP check routines and calibration after consumable changes.
• Coordinate with PLCs, design, quality, and maintenance teams.
