Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-Op to join the Atlas Electrical Engineering team. You will help design, build, and troubleshoot compact electrical systems in robots, working with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.

You will assist in prototyping and testing circuit boards, and you will troubleshoot complex electrical and systems problems while developing hands-on lab skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with reading schematics and circuit fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with Python or MATLAB
• Experience with electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, soldering) and related tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to design and support robotic systems
• Assist with design, prototyping, and testing of circuit boards and electromechanical subassemblies
• Troubleshoot and root cause challenging electrical and systems problems
