Job summary

IDC Spring in Minnesota is seeking a SPF Cell Machine Operator to manufacture garage door springs per customer specifications. You will set up and operate equipment, select robot program options, and monitor heat treatment processes in a fast-paced production environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, manufacturing experience, and aptitude for robotics. We offer weekly pay and a competitive benefits package to support safety and quality goals.

• Manufacturing experience required.
• Aptitude for programming robotic/ automated equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with hand and measurement tools.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• Dependability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment.
• Select robot program options according to production requirements.
• Monitor heat treatment workflow; change over and ensure tooling.
• Unload finished product onto pallets/racks with correct quantities.
• Meet or exceed established KPIs.
• Use computers at various process points to complete tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.
• Complete daily 5S housekeeping.
