Job summary
Komatsu America Corp. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with Robotics Experience in Peoria, IL. You will lead projects across production and warehouse operations, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost control.
The role emphasizes robot programming, tooling, and lean manufacturing to improve overall flow from suppliers to the line. You will collaborate across departments to refine procedures, develop standards, and implement improvements for current and future product lines,
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering or related field is required.
- 1–3 years in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably with robotics experience.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CAD tools including 3D CAD and AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Program and optimize robotic welding systems and CNC machinery to improve throughput.
- Lead and manage manufacturing engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
- Specify tooling and processes aligned with production and warehouse needs.
- Maintain routing documents, production procedures, and costing within the MRP system.
