Komatsu America Corp. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with Robotics Experience at our Peoria, IL hub. You will lead projects to optimize manufacturing and warehouse operations, programming robotics and CNC systems, and improving material flow from suppliers to production lines.

You will implement lean manufacturing methods and Komatsu Way principles to enhance safety, quality and cost efficiency while collaborating across departments to standardize procedures and drive continuous improvement.

Formación

• BS in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years in a manufacturing engineering role with robotics/automation experience.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; CAD software for layout design.

Responsabilidades

• Program CNC machines, welding robots, laser projection, and painting systems.
• Lead manufacturing engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
• Specify tooling and processes for existing and new product models.
• Maintain routing documents, procedures, and costing in the MRP system.
• Assess manpower needs for production and warehouse teams.
• Manage budgets while improving safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Develop balanced workflows for subassemblies, mainlines, and warehouses.
• Create packaging solutions for spare parts and shipments.
• Apply Komatsu Way to safety, quality, and delivery; improve ergonomics.
• Implement lean methods: 5S, Kaizen, PDCA, Poka Yoke.
• Conduct time/motion studies and make or buy analyses.
• Analyze bottlenecks and update facility layouts.
