Job summary

Genesis, a full-stack general-purpose robot company, is seeking engineers to deploy robotic solutions at customer sites across the Bay Area and beyond. You will translate real-world workflows into reliable robot deployments, collaborating with product, hardware, and software teams to meet acceptance criteria.

You will travel to customer sites, configure systems, run evaluations, and iterate until the deployment is robust. Strong Python and Linux skills, plus ROS/ROS 2 familiarity, are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver technical solutions in real-world environments.
• Hands-on engineering with Python and Linux; able to integrate hardware and software via APIs or control systems.
• Experience investigating failed tasks across robotic systems.
• Ability to translate ambiguous customer requests into concrete technical plans.
• Bias toward field work and delivering reliable daily operation.
• Strong written communication to document configurations, failure modes, and procedures.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical path from customer use case to deployed solution for robots.
• Interact with customers to understand operations, assess feasibility, and define deployment scope.
• Design and implement deployment solutions spanning product, robot hardware, model capabilities, tooling, and customer systems.
• Be hands-on at customer sites to configure systems, run evaluations, and iterate until acceptance criteria are met.
• Collaborate with research, robotics engineering, and platform teams to turn field failures into improvements.
• Build reusable tools and deployment playbooks to accelerate future site deployments.
