Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Robotics Field Operations Lead to orchestrate drone, ground-robotics, and robotic-layout deployments across multiple projects. You will coordinate field teams, equipment, safety, and schedules while translating project needs into actionable deployment plans.

This role requires strong project-management skills, experience with budgeting and data dashboards, and a drive to advance construction robotics on site. Travel to jobsites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 2-5 years in operations-intensive roles such as project coordination or construction operations.
• Strong project-management skills with scheduling, prioritization, risk tracking, documentation, and follow-through.
• Experience with budgeting, invoices, purchase orders, and cost accounting.
• Willingness to travel to construction sites and work outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment coordination for drone, ground-robotics, and robotic-layout deployments across projects.
• Confirm deployment requirements, site readiness, safety, and authorizations before mobilization.
• Coordinate field personnel, robotics equipment, logistics, and deployment resources.
• Identify scheduling conflicts, constraints, and operational risks early.
• Monitor deployments and respond to quality issues, weather delays, or changes.
• Streamline workflows using project tools, data analytics, and low/no-code platforms.
• Develop scalable operating procedures, playbooks, checklists, and training materials.
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for project teams using robotics services.
• Translate project needs into defined deployment scopes, schedules, and deliverables.
• Onboard project teams and build trusted relationships with Superintendents, PMs, and Vendors.
• Perform QA by monitoring data quality, mission completion, and KPIs.
• Turn field feedback into insights for the robotics roadmap.
