Job summary

Cobot is seeking a Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end robot deployments, working closely with customers to ensure smooth rollouts and ongoing success. You will test hardware and software on-site, troubleshoot issues, and document processes to create reliable, scalable deployments.

The role emphasizes collaboration, fast-paced startup energy, and extensive travel (90–100%) across the US, with a preference for proximity to major airports. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial engineering or SCM.
• Customer-first mindset with proven relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Linux, Python, and Git.
• Hands-on electrical and mechanical debugging experience.
• Data visualization or presentation skills.
• Experience deploying systems in logistics, healthcare, or manufacturing.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a fast-paced startup.
• Willingness to travel 90–100% for on-site deployments.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional deployment support and elevate the customer experience.
• Lead onsite hardware and software testing to ensure optimal cobot performance.
• Troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues to enhance system reliability and user experience.
• Perform parts replacements and robot retrofits to maintain high operational standards.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships grounded in trust, reliability and mutual success.
• Prepare sites for deployment through readiness assessments, checklists, and testing.
• Create clear operational and technical documentation to build a foundation for excellence.
• Partner with the Program Manager to drive consistent communication and project progress.
