Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is looking for a Deployment Engineer to integrate robotic systems into autonomous welding. You’ll work to configure and ensure the proper functioning of robotic welding cells both at our facility and client sites.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering, experience with C++, Python, and ROS, as well as strong documentation skills. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in C++, Python, Bash, ROS, and Git version control.
• Familiarity with robotics and control systems.
• Experience with the Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and calibrate robotic welding cells for operations.
• Identify software issues and implement fixes.
• Document system errors and create Jira tickets.
• Work with engineering on software improvements.
• Train Operating Technicians on new processes.
• Update documentation for cell operations.
