Field AI in Irvine, CA is seeking a Data Platform Engineer, Data Pipelines, to design and build the data backbone that moves field robot data to analytics, ML training, and deployment systems. You will tackle intermittent connectivity, large sensors, and end-to-end data integrity in a field robotics environment.

The role requires Python/SQL, streaming systems, cloud data warehouses, and experience building for data quality and scalable ingestion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the data platform, pipelines, and tooling to move data from field robots to analytics and ML workflows.
• Handle intermittent connectivity, large sensor payloads, and edge-to-cloud synchronization.
• Develop reusable ingestion SDKs, APIs, and services for onboarding new robotics data sources.
