Job summary

Path Robotics, Inc. in Columbus, OH, is hiring to lead the Manipulation Data Farm, transforming data collection into repeatable, measurable operations that accelerate robotics data for AI development.

You will manage a team of ~15 Data Collection Operators, drive throughput and quality, and work closely with ML, Robotics, Software, and Product teams to ensure project success. The role emphasizes scalable SOPs, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operations of the Manipulation Data Farm, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable execution of data collection activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 15 Data Collection Operators, fostering a high-performance culture centered on accountability and quality.
• Translate data collection requests into executable operational plans, balancing priorities, staffing, equipment, and delivery timelines.
• Partner with Machine Learning, Robotics, Software, and Product teams to understand data requirements and ensure project success.
• Drive throughput while maintaining rigorous quality standards and meeting delivery commitments.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, equipment utilization, and materials to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Monitor system health and readiness, proactively identifying bottlenecks and resolving them before impact.
• Develop and monitor KPIs including throughput, utilization, quality, cycle time, uptime, and on-time delivery.
• Establish scalable QA processes to ensure datasets meet production standards before delivery.
• Own the lifecycle of data collection projects from intake to delivery with clear stakeholder updates.
• Drive root cause analysis for operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Build and improve SOPs, training programs, and documentation to enable scalable growth.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows, improve tooling, and increase efficiency through data-driven decisions.
• Foster a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous learning.
