Job summary

Wilder Systems Robots in Oklahoma City designs, builds, and installs robotic systems for aerospace manufacturing. The Controls Technician will build, install, test, and maintain robotic equipment, and perform electrical work including circuit boards, sensors, controllers, and servo motors.

The role involves troubleshooting, wiring, and diagnostics to ensure quality and safety. Travel and overtime may be required; strong communication and teamwork are essential for rapid problem solving.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an electrical technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and schematics.
• Overtime availability and flexibility to work hours.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift 30 lbs repeatedly.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot robotic systems using electronics, controllers, sensors, and hydraulics.
• Install wiring, robot controllers, end-of-arm tools, and equipment.
• Perform electrical build of robotic systems and validate functionality.
• Conduct final electrical checks on wiring harnesses, sensors, motors.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues from schematics and diagrams.
• Maintain service records and test logs of robotic equipment.
• Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotics.
• Provide feedback to design and engineering teams.
• Align and assemble wire harnesses with hand tools and measurement devices.
