Job summary

QComp Technologies is a Greenville, WI-based robotics integrator seeking a Controls Engineer to design and integrate automated solutions for diverse industries. The role exposes you to industrial equipment and peripheral systems as part of a custom customer project.

You will program, troubleshoot, and support startup at the customer site, participate in project meetings, and provide technical guidance in client interactions.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
3+ years of experience programming in an industrial automation environment.
Familiar with Rockwell Automation products.
Ability to integrate an ABB or Fanuc Robotics system from start to finish.
PickMaster/PickTool/PalletTool experience.
Experience with packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

Programming and writing code to ensure robotic automation solutions perform to our customers’ standards.
Troubleshooting complex technical problems with our team of engineers and technicians.
Participating in regular project meetings to ensure projects are on time and progress as planned.
Representing QComp in customer meetings to provide technical advice and creative solutions to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Ensuring a smooth equipment startup at the customer facility.
