Job summary

QComp Technologies, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and integrate robotic packaging and automation systems. You will work on EOAT, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, safety components and specialized stands for diverse industries.

The role involves drafting, procurement support, and collaboration with sales and engineering teams to deliver complete, cost-effective solutions and ensure smooth startups.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or 2-year certificate in Mechanical Design or equivalent.
• Deep desire to be an efficient machine designer.
• 2+ years of experience designing automation equipment with a degree; 4+ years with a certificate.
• Proficiency working in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD required.
• Autodesk Vault experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficient industrial equipment design, drafting and procurement for robot-based solutions, incl. EOAT, conveyors, stands, pneumatics/hydraulics, safety.
• Troubleshoot complex applications with the team to develop cost-effective, complete solutions.
• Participate in project meetings to keep schedules on track.
• Represent QComp in customer meetings, offering technical advice and creative solutions.
• Create and catalog sales and engineering drawings, spare parts lists and docs using Excel/Access/Adobe/Inventor/AutoCAD.
• Support Engineers to ensure smooth project startup.
