Job summary

Quest Industrial, based in Middleton, Wisconsin, is a full-service robotics integrator focusing on automation across multiple industries. As a Controls Engineer, you will develop and program robot, PLC, and HMI controls software for robotic packaging automation machinery.

You’ll solve complex challenges, collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams, assist with installation, and travel to customer sites as needed. A 2-year Applied Science degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year Applied Science degree with emphasis in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Automation or Robotic Programming.
• Over 2 years full-time related experience accepted as alternative.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Robot, PLC, Servo, HMI software from existing libraries.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to modify software.
• Assist installation, start-up and commissioning of new machines.
• Participate in start-up of new automation equipment and travel as needed.
