Job summary

PROCEPT BioRobotics in Albany/Syracuse seeks a Clinical Specialist to train surgeons and staff on PROCEPT Robotic Systems and to assist during live procedures. You will ensure efficient OR workflows, support installations and software updates, and collaborate with Sales to grow utilization and surgeon engagement.

The role requires traveling up to 75% and delivering high-quality, safety-focused care, while coordinating with Marketing and R&D to drive product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years clinical experience preferred.
• Interest in medical devices and robotics.
• Clinical proficiency to cover a case independently within 60 days after Aqua Academy.
• Willing to travel up to 75% or more.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product training and clinical education to surgeons, staff, and new users.
• Support live procedures to ensure optimal OR workflow, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Provide in-service and field support, including installations and software updates.
• Execute procedural scheduling and efficiency improvements to maximize case coverage.
• Partner with Sales to identify opportunities for utilization growth and account retention.
• Track and document surgeon progression through onboarding milestones and maintain logs.
