Job summary

Nemak in Augusta, GA is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and optimize PLC and HMI systems for HPDC processes, and to program and maintain industrial robots such as Fanuc, ABB, or KUKA. You will diagnose automation issues and lead improvements across production lines, aligning with safety standards and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation engineering.
• Strong expertise in PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, and industrial networks; Siemens preferred.
• Experience in die casting or automotive manufacturing preferred.
