Nucor Steel Kingman is seeking an Automation Technician to support the team’s automation needs. The site features state-of-the-art controls, automation, and robotics for advanced steel manufacturing.

You will help safely support ongoing improvement and maintenance of these systems, with a focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork. Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial controls is valued, along with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience with automation systems in an industrial environment.
• Diverse background in PLCs, HMIs, and industrial controls.
• Ability to safely work on electrical systems.

Basic Job Functions:

We are seeking an Automation Technician to better support the team’s automation needs here at Nucor Steel, Kingman.

The site features state-of-the-art controls, automation, and robotics for advanced steel manufacturing. The candidate will help safely support the continued improvement and maintenance of these systems.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• 2 years' experience with automation systems developing/troubleshooting logic in an industrial environment
• Diverse background in PLCs, HMIs, and industrial controls
• Ability to safely work on electrical systems
