Job summary

Gem Plastics in Eastanollee, GA is seeking a Mechatronics Tech to build, install, test, and maintain robotic production systems. You will troubleshoot, program, document test results, and collaborate with engineers to optimize automation for cost reduction and quality improvements.

The role requires an Associate degree in automation/robotics, hands-on experience with FANUC/Allen Bradley, SolidWorks, CAD/CAM, and solid documentation skills. Strong communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

Associates degree required in automation, robotics, or related field.
Experience with robotics, PLCs, and electrical troubleshooting is essential.

Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot automated systems using robotics, PLCs, electronics, and hydraulics.
Disassemble and repair robots and peripheral equipment.
Install, program, and test programmable controllers and robot controllers.
Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency and safety.
Train personnel on robots and maintenance procedures.
