Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Vermont is offering a summer internship in Manufacturing Automation. You will participate in the design, assembly and integration of automated manufacturing cells and support readiness for future automation.

Ideal candidates are juniors pursuing engineering or CS degrees with a 3.0 GPA, strong communication and planning skills, and prior leadership or project experience. On-site roles require full-time availability 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Education – A junior at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or CS/CE during the internship.
• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
• English language proficiency (written and verbal).
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Support design, assembly and integration of automated/robotic manufacturing cells.
• Assist in enabling manufacturing cell readiness for future automation.
• Support evaluation and improvement of existing or future automated equipment.
• Lead improvement projects and collaborate with a diverse team in a manufacturing environment.
